We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. This role involves working closely with children, parents, and staff to promote the social, emotional, and cognitive development of each child in our care.
Duties
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of children aged 0-5 years.
Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and learning.
Assess and monitor children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians regularly.
Collaborate with other educators and specialists to support children with special needs or disabilities.
Maintain classroom organization and cleanliness while ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and any concerns that may arise.
Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge of early childhood education best practices.
Skills
Proficient in English; knowledge of French is a plus.
Strong background in childcare, including experience working with children in various settings.
Familiarity with special education practices and working with people with disabilities.
Excellent teaching skills with a focus on early childhood education methodologies.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
Proficient computer skills for lesson planning, record keeping, and communication purposes.
Demonstrated classroom experience along with effective time management abilities to balance multiple responsibilities.
Leadership qualities that inspire confidence in students while fostering teamwork among staff members.

Pay: $18.52-$25.44 per hour
