We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood ECE Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, supporting their developmental needs through engaging curriculum and activities. This role involves implementing age-appropriate lesson plans, managing classroom dynamics, and collaborating with families to promote children's growth and well-being. Experience in early childhood education, classroom management, and curriculum development is essential to ensure a high-quality learning experience for all students.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards such as Montessori or other educational frameworks.
Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages social, emotional, and cognitive development.
Manage classroom activities, behavior, and routines to ensure a safe and supportive setting for children.
Support children's literacy, math, physical education, and overall childhood development through tailored instructional strategies.
Conduct assessments of children's progress using standardized testing methods and provide feedback to parents and staff.
Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, early intervention strategies, and special education needs.
Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and classroom activities in compliance with licensing requirements.
Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's development, behavior management strategies, and classroom events.
Incorporate diverse teaching techniques such as tutoring, literacy education, and hands-on activities to enhance learning outcomes.
Ensure adherence to child welfare standards and safety protocols within the daycare or preschool setting.
Requirements
Proven experience working with children in early childhood settings such as daycare, preschool, or private schools.
Strong knowledge of childhood development theories, behavior management techniques, and classroom management skills.
Experience with curriculum development across various subjects including math, literacy education, physical education, and special education.
Familiarity with early intervention programs and experience working with children requiring additional support or special needs services.
Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
Ability to plan lessons that incorporate Montessori methods or other educational philosophies suited for early learners.
Prior experience with standardized testing procedures and assessment tools for young children.
Knowledge of childcare regulations, child welfare practices, and best practices in early childhood education.
