Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Early Childhood Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will support the daily operations of the classroom, assist educators in implementing developmentally appropriate activities, and ensure a safe, nurturing environment for all children. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about early learning and eager to contribute to a positive and inclusive childcare setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Support Early Childhood Educators in planning and delivering age-appropriate learning activities. Supervise children to ensure safety, well-being, and positive engagement throughout the day. Assist with daily routines, including meals, diapering/toileting, dressing, and transitions. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment. Foster positive, respectful relationships with children, families, and team members. Follow all center policies, licensing regulations, and health and safety guidelines. Contribute to the emotional, physical, and cognitive development of children through play-based learning. Participate in classroom observations, documentation, and program planning as needed.

Qualifications:

Experience working with infants, toddlers, or preschool-aged children (preferred). Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Strong communication, patience, and problem-solving skills. A caring, reliable, and professional attitude.

Contract Details:

3-month initial contract; extension possible based on performance and business requirements.
