We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Early Childhood Assistant to support the development and well-being of young children in a nurturing educational environment. This role involves assisting lead teachers in implementing engaging activities, ensuring a safe and inclusive space, and fostering positive interactions with children. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and experience working with children, including those with disabilities. Responsibilities

Support lead teachers in planning and executing age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development Assist with supervising children during classroom activities, outdoor play, meals, and rest periods Provide attentive care to children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom setting Encourage positive behavior and social interactions among children Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to support children's growth and well-being Assist in documenting developmental progress and any concerns to inform teaching strategies

Qualifications

Prior classroom experience or background in early childhood education is preferred Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus Strong caregiving skills with a genuine interest in supporting children's development Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team of educators and caregivers Excellent communication skills and patience when working with young children Knowledge of best practices in early childhood education and safety protocols Passion for nurturing children's growth in a supportive environment

Pay: $20.10-$21.50 per hour
