In this dynamic role, you will support lead teachers in creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for children in preschool and toddler care settings. Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards such as Montessori or other early childhood education frameworks Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through engaging activities and positive reinforcement Help create a welcoming classroom environment that promotes curiosity, independence, and respect among children Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities, ensuring safety at all times Facilitate literacy education and early math skills through interactive storytelling, counting games, and hands-on learning experiences Manage classroom behavior using effective behavior management techniques to foster a respectful and inclusive atmosphere Support special education needs by working with children with disabilities or autism, adapting activities as necessary Maintain clear communication with parents and team members regarding children's progress and needs Assist with classroom organization, including preparing materials for lessons and maintaining cleanliness of the learning environment Follow all health and safety protocols to ensure a secure setting for children and staff



Strong understanding of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or private school environments Knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, literacy education, math concepts, and behavior management strategies Familiarity with special education techniques and working with children with disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD) Experience caring for toddlers and implementing Montessori or other child-centered pedagogies Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and engage positively with families Classroom management skills to maintain an organized, safe, and nurturing environment Ability to adapt activities for diverse learning needs and developmental stages Patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for early childhood education Prior experience in daycare or preschool settings is highly desirable

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.42-$22.42 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 8 per week
