Job Description

Develop and implement program activities based on Kittens' Mittens Child Care Square Curriculum with other educators and mentors to promote the child's unique physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children Develop schedules and routines that follow the daily habits and necessities of children in the classroom. Individualize the curriculum as required, ensuring that all activities are accessible Monitor, guide, and engage children during learning and play times (indoor and outdoor), meal times, proper hygiene care, and nap/rest times to maintain a secure and safe environment. Assess the abilities, interests and needs of children and discuss progress and/or behavioural and learning difficulties children may present with parents and other staff members Assist other Early Child Care Educators and other Mentors in keeping records Maintain child care equipment and assist with housekeeping. Maintain a physical environment that protects the health, security and well-being of children. Help in serving snacks and lunch, arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $16.00-$17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
