We are an internationally renowned industrial steel fabricator and steel bending company. Established in 1974, in the Stoney Creek / Hamilton area serving the energy, resources, primary metals, marine, construction, architectural, and environmental industries.
We have an immediate opportunity for a full time day shift opportunity available for a qualified
DZ Truck Driver
.Responsible for safe operation and maintenance of company vehicles. Perform vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance before, during and after trips. Deliver steel products to customers mostly locally. Verify delivery loads ensuring all freight is strapped and secured properly. Maintain a clean vehicle (interior and exterior). Keep complete and accurate records/logs. Must be able to perform tasks, when shipping is low and demands need to be met around the shop.
Requirements
Possess a valid DZ Driver's license with clean driver abstract. Minimum 5 year experience driving flatbed trucks. Experience with hauling steel or heavy material..
