Job Description
DeBastos & Sons is a family owned "stump-to-dump" logging contracting company with over 30 years of experience. Every year, our team and fleet of equipment produces and delivers an average of 375,000 Cubic Meters of timber products to wood mills surrounding Timmins, ON. We are seeking to add a DZ driver to our road crew.
Requirements:
- Valid DZ driver's licence and able to provide a driver's abstract.
- Considers road safety a top priority.
- Available to work flexible hours.
- Able to work in various weather conditions.
- Bilingual French and English an asset, but not a requirement
- Minimum 3 years of experience driving log trucks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive safely in various terrain (Bush Roads) and other situations.
- Communicate effectively by radio and other communication devices.
- Complete circle checks before and after delivering loads.
- Maintain a clean truck.
- Fill out log sheet.
Note: In addition to these duties, additional tasks may be given to support the objectives of the company.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00-$30.00 per hour
