Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, reliability, and customer service. The Truck Driver will operate various types of vehicles, including heavy equipment, and may also assist with loading and unloading freight.

Responsibilities

Safely operate trucks to transport freight to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance. Load and unload cargo using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of driving hours and vehicle maintenance. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport. Follow all local, state, and federal regulations related to commercial driving. Perform minor automotive repairs and maintenance on the vehicle as necessary.

Experience

Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL). Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is preferred. Experience in freight handling and logistics is a plus. Knowledge of forklift operation is advantageous. Basic automotive repair skills are beneficial for maintaining vehicle performance.

Pay: $100.00-$200.00 per day
