Overview

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting freight and goods to various destinations while ensuring timely deliveries. This role requires a strong focus on safety, vehicle maintenance, and efficient route management.

Responsibilities

Driver is responsible for loading, unloading, preparing, cleaning, and operating a vehicle for delivery duties Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance needs or safety issues Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and compliance records Reports vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles or Company property. Communicates effectively with the public, customers, and co-workers both verbally and in written form. Completes all necessary paperwork at the end of the shift. May include, but not limited to, daily logs, inspection logs, delivery receipts, vehicle inspection, hours of service, etc Follow all company policies related to safety protocols, hours of service, and regulatory compliance

Skills

Must have DZ driver's license with at least 3 years of relevant experience and a proven safety record Polite and reliable. Have good written and verbal communication skills. Excellent time management and punctuality. Excellent accuracy and organization skills complimented by the ability to multi-task and prioritize.

A. Education and Experience

Education: None required. Experience: Physical labour experience preferred.
B. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements

Must be legally eligible to work in Canada with a valid SIN.

Hold a current DZ or AZ license (required) Must drive manual
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 44 per week
