Job Description

Position Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced DZ Truck Driver to operate our hydroseed truck and assist with part-time hauling of aggregates and equipment to various job sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to safety, and a willingness to perform a variety of duties as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate a DZ-class hydroseed truck to transport and apply hydroseeding mixtures at designated project sites. Perform routine maintenance and inspections on the hydroseed truck and related equipment. Haul aggregates (gravel, sand, soil, etc.) and transport small construction or landscaping equipment to and from job sites. Load and unload materials safely using proper methods and tools. Complete daily vehicle inspection reports and maintain accurate driving logs. Follow all road safety regulations, company policies, and procedures. Communicate effectively with dispatch and site supervisors. Assist crew members on site as needed when not driving.

Qualifications:

Valid DZ Driver's License with clean driver's abstract. Minimum of 3 years of driving experience with letter from previous insurer. Knowledge of hydroseeding equipment and process is an advantage but training can be provided. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor. Good communication and teamwork skills. Flexibility to work varying hours and travel to job sites within the region.

Working Conditions:

Outdoor work in varying weather conditions. Mix of driving and physical labor. Flexible schedule depending on project demands.

Compensation:

Competitive hourly wage based on experience.
