Job Summary

Position Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and skilled DZ Driver to join our construction team.

The ideal candidate will operate a manual 10-speed transmission Flat bed truck

, transporting materials and equipment to and from job sites. A willingness to obtain in-house Bobcat certification is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate a manual 10-speed truck, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and company policies. Transport construction materials and equipment to various job sites in a timely and efficient manner. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safe operating conditions. Load and secure cargo appropriately to prevent damage during transit. Maintain accurate logs of hours driven, deliveries made, and vehicle maintenance. Communicate effectively with dispatch and site supervisors regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered. Obtain in-house Bobcat certification to operate equipment as needed on job sites. Assist with loading and unloading materials when necessary. Follow all safety protocols and regulations to promote a safe working environment.

Requirements:

Valid DZ driver's license. Experience driving manual 10-speed transmission trucks. Clean driving record. Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance and inspections. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Willingness to learn and obtain Bobcat certification (provided at no cost). Previous experience in construction or similar field preferred but not required. Physical ability to perform manual labor and handle materials as needed.

Compensation:

Starting pay rate: $23/hour. Opportunity for overtime and additional training.
