Responsibilities

Safely operate a delivery vehicle, including box trucks and manual transmission vehicles. Load and unload goods from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling of items. Follow designated routes for timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any discrepancies. Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability. Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization.

Skills

Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Previous warehouse experience is a plus for understanding logistics operations. Experience in commercial driving with a valid driver's license is required. Familiarity with box trucks and delivery driver responsibilities is essential. Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks safely. Knowledge of operating forklifts and pallet jacks is advantageous. Experience with route driving and navigating efficiently within designated areas. Previous experience as a courier or in similar delivery roles is preferred.
