JOB POSTING - DZ Delivery Driver

Position Summary

The DZ Driver is responsible for the safe, efficient, and timely delivery of meat products to our customers, suppliers, and distribution partners. This role involves operating company vehicles, ensuring proper handling of temperature-controlled goods, and providing excellent customer service during deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate a DZ-class truck in compliance with all transportation laws and company policies. Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle. Load and unload meat products, ensuring accurate order fulfillment and safe product handling. Verify delivery documentation, invoices, and temperature logs. Maintain communication with scheduler and warehouse teams regarding route updates, delays, or issues. Follow all food safety and biosecurity protocols when handling products. Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the assigned vehicle. Assist with other transportation or warehouse duties as required.

Specific Requirements

Experience:

2 years experience as DZ delivery driver with a clean drivers abstract.

Skills:

Attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work in a cold and physically demanding environment.

Physical Abilities:

Ability to lift and carry packages and carcasses 50lbs+
The successful candidate will be a people-person capable of holding others accountable and encouraging their colleagues to perform.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.50-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week
