Duties

Operate dump trucks to transport materials such as dirt, gravel, sand, and asphalt to and from construction sites. Collaborate with site managers and other team members to understand material needs and delivery schedules. Perform pre-trip inspections on vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Load and unload materials using appropriate heavy equipment, including backhoes and loaders. Assist in horizontal drilling operations when required. Maintain cleanliness and functionality of the dump truck and associated equipment. Follow all safety protocols while operating machinery on-site. Communicate effectively with team members regarding project progress and any issues that arise.

Qualifications

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, specifically dump trucks. Knowledge of construction processes, including building, bulldozing, digging, paving, and mechanical knowledge related to equipment maintenance. Familiarity with backhoe operation and loader operation is preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards. Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physical tasks as required. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Pay: $23.10-$32.98 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

Monday to Friday Weekends as needed
Work Location: In person
