Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials to and from job sites while ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the dump truck. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial driving, heavy equipment operation, and adherence to safety protocols.

Duties

Operate a dump truck to transport materials such as gravel, sand, and construction debris to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition. Load and unload materials using appropriate equipment, including forklifts when necessary. Maintain accurate records of materials transported and completed deliveries. Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving in various weather conditions. Collaborate with site managers and other team members to ensure timely delivery of materials. Perform basic automotive repairs as needed to keep the vehicle in optimal condition.

Requirements

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. (AZ) Proven experience in commercial driving, specifically with dump trucks or similar heavy vehicles. Familiarity with heavy equipment operation and safety practices. Ability to operate forklifts for loading and unloading materials is preferred. Strong problem-solving skills for basic automotive repair tasks. Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment. Physical stamina to handle the demands of loading, unloading, and operating heavy machinery throughout the workday.
