Overview

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating dump trucks to transport materials to and from construction sites, or other industrial locations. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and adherence to transportation regulations. Candidates with skills in heavy equipment operation, automotive repair, and freight handling are highly valued. Duties

Operate dump trucks to transport materials such as gravel, dirt, debris, or other bulk commodities efficiently and safely. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance. Load and unload freight or materials as required, utilizing forklift or other heavy equipment when necessary. Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance records. Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations during transportation activities. Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to ensure vehicle reliability. Assist with the operation of heavy equipment as needed on-site. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding delivery schedules or operational issues.

Experience

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Prior experience operating dump trucks in construction, mining, or industrial settings preferred. Familiarity with forklift operation, freight handling, and heavy equipment operation is advantageous. Basic automotive repair skills are a plus for maintaining vehicle performance. Knowledge of safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and transportation regulations is essential. Ability to work independently in outdoor environments and adhere to strict safety standards.

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
