Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Class 1 Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials to and from job sites, ensuring that all loads are delivered safely and efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations, as well as the ability to operate heavy equipment.

Duties

Safely operate a dump truck to transport materials such as gravel, sand, and dirt to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition. Load and unload materials using appropriate equipment, ensuring proper weight distribution. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, materials transported, and any incidents that occur during transport. Follow all safety protocols and regulations while on the road and at job sites. Communicate effectively with supervisors and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered.

Skills

Proficient in freight transportation and commercial driving practices. Experience in heavy equipment operation, including dump trucks. Basic automotive repair skills for minor vehicle maintenance. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members. Pride in your ride.
