Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials to and from job sites while ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the dump truck. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations, heavy equipment operation, and a commitment to maintaining safety standards.

Responsibilities

Operate a dump truck to transport materials such as gravel, sand, and soil to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving on public roads. Communicate effectively with site managers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and material needs. Assist with loading and unloading materials as necessary, utilizing forklift equipment when required. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including freight documentation and vehicle maintenance logs. Perform minor automotive repairs and maintenance on the dump truck as needed to ensure optimal performance.

Qualifications

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required. You must have quad wagon experience Transfer experience valuable asset being able to operate a loader is a valuable asset Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with dump trucks or similar heavy equipment. Familiarity with heavy equipment operation and safety protocols. Experience with forklift operation is preferred but not mandatory. Basic knowledge of automotive repair is a plus, enabling the driver to perform minor maintenance tasks independently. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices on the job site.
