Job Overview

We are seeking reliable and skilled Dump Truck Drivers to join our team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for transporting materials to and from job sites, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the dump truck. This role requires a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation and a commitment to safety standards.

Responsibilities

Operate a dump truck to transport materials such as gravel, sand, and soil to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving on public roads. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes taken, and materials transported. Communicate effectively with site supervisors and other team members regarding delivery schedules and site conditions. Perform minor automotive repairs and maintenance on the dump truck as necessary.

Skills

REQUIRED 2 years of experience driving a dump truck. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and practices. Knowledge of freight handling procedures and material types commonly transported by dump trucks. Basic automotive repair skills to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and supervisors.
