Position Overview:

2R Trucking LTD is seeking an experienced

Class 1 Dump Truck Driver

to join our team. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of

5 years of experience

operating dump trucks and be proficient in driving

manual transmission

vehicles. This position involves

long-distance travel

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate a

manual transmission

dump truck, transporting materials across various locations throughout British Columbia. Ensure the truck is loaded, secured, and delivered to designated sites. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and regulatory compliance. Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation. Communicate effectively with dispatch and site personnel regarding delivery status and any delays. Assist with unloading at delivery sites, when required.

Requirements:

Valid

Class 1 Driver's License

with a clean driving record.

Minimum of 5 years of experience

operating dump trucks.

Manual transmission experience is REQUIRED

--you must be comfortable operating a manual dump truck.

Long-distance driving experience

is preferred, as the position involves travel across various regions in British Columbia. Strong attention to detail, reliability, and punctuality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to lift and assist with loading/unloading when necessary.

Compensation:

Wage ranges from

$30 to $36 per hour

, based on experience. Benefits package available after the probationary period.
