We are seeking a reliable and experienced Dump Truck (Truck + Transfer) Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating dump trucks to transport materials to and from various job sites. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and adherence to traffic and safety regulations. Candidates should possess a valid commercial driver's license and have experience with heavy equipment operation. Responsibilities

Operate dump trucks safely and efficiently to transport construction materials, debris, or other loads Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and proper functioning Load and unload materials using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or other heavy machinery when necessary Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations during transportation Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding schedules, delays, or issues on-site Assist with minor vehicle repairs or maintenance as needed, utilizing automotive repair skills

Skills

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with clean driving record Experience operating dump trucks and heavy equipment operation Knowledge of freight handling and safe transportation practices Ability to operate forklifts and other related machinery is a plus Basic automotive repair skills for routine maintenance and troubleshooting Strong understanding of safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and freight transportation Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00-$34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 - 56 per week

Work Location: In person
