Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Educatrice en garderie to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in the development and education of young children in a nurturing and stimulating environment. This position requires strong leadership skills, effective communication, and the ability to engage with children and their families. Bilingual candidates are preferred to enhance communication with diverse families.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programs that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development. Foster a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all children. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns. Organize daily activities that encourage creativity, exploration, and learning. Maintain accurate records of children's development and attendance using computerized systems. Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive educational experience for all children. Support children with disabilities by adapting activities to meet their individual needs.

Experience

A background in Early Childhood Education is essential for this role. Proven leadership abilities in managing classroom dynamics and guiding support staff. Strong organizational skills to effectively plan lessons and manage classroom resources. Proficiency in computer operation for record keeping and program planning. Bilingual proficiency (English and French) is highly desirable to facilitate communication with diverse families. Experience working with children with disabilities is a plus, demonstrating an understanding of inclusive practices.
