Overview


We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Catering Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing catering events from conception to execution, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction for our clients. This position requires strong skills in outside sales, account management, and customer service, along with a passion for the catering industry.

Key Responsibilities

Administrative Support: Handle day-to-day administrative tasks for the sales department, including maintaining schedules, preparing reports, and managing databases related to bookings and customer inquiries. Client Communication: Maintain communication with potential and current clients, addressing inquiries and providing information about hotel offerings. Prepare proposals, contracts, and quotes to meet client needs. Sales Coordination: Assist the sales team with lead generation, market research, and identifying potential sales opportunities. Ensure smooth communication between the sales team, clients, and other departments (e.g., event planning, catering). Event Coordination: Organize logistics for meetings, conferences, and events held at the hotel, ensuring all details such as room setup, catering, and technical requirements are managed effectively. Reporting and Analysis: Monitor and analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and growth opportunities. Prepare sales-related documents throughout the sales process, such as proposals and contracts.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Education: A degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred. Experience: Previous experience in sales, customer service, or event planning is advantageous. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with clients and team members. Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage various tasks and priorities effectively. Technical Skills: Familiarity with hotel management software and sales databases is beneficial.
