We are looking for an experienced casual instructor to join the Dual Credit - University Transfer Instructional Team for the Winter 2026 semester to teach Health Education (HEED) 1000 "Individual Health and Wellness" in person with our dual credit partner at Maskwacis Education Schools Commission.


Dual credit programming provides high school students with the opportunity to take university transfer courses through NorQuest, earning high school and post-secondary credit at the same time.


This position requires in-person teaching at Maskwacis Education Schools Commission from February - May on Tuesdays 1230-3:30pm weekly. Compensation for eligible travel expenses is available.

HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE



Plan and prepare for the instructional delivery of HEED 1000. Instruct and evaluate students in HEED 1000. Maintain student and program records for your section of HEED 1000. Collaborate with and contribute to the instructional team as needed.

WHAT YOU BRING



Master's degree or higher in a health or education related field. If your education was received internationally we recommend you obtain an international education assessment through IQAS, WES, or one of the other nationally designated organizations. Experience teaching under-represented student populations, such as Indigenous students. Experience using Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Moodle (misiwe), Blackboard Ultra and/ or other educational technologies considered an asset.

SALARY: HEED 1000 is a 3-credit course that is compensated per the NorQuest College faculty agreement course casual rate per credit.
