We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Drywaller to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in drywall installation and finishing, as well as a strong understanding of construction practices. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to read blueprints, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Duties

Install drywall sheets on walls and ceilings according to specifications and blueprints. Cut and shape drywall panels to fit around windows, doors, and other fixtures. Apply joint tape and compound to seams, corners, and screw holes for a smooth finish. Sand and finish drywall surfaces to prepare for painting or other treatments. Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and building codes. Collaborate with other construction professionals, including carpenters and painters, to ensure project completion.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Drywaller or in a similar maintenance person role within the construction industry. Proficiency in drywall installation techniques and finishing processes. Ability to read blueprints and understand construction plans. Strong skills in carpentry, including framing and trim work. Familiarity with construction painting techniques is a plus. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to work independently or as part of a team, demonstrating good communication skills. Physical stamina for lifting heavy materials and working on your feet for extended periods.
