Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and versatile to join our construction and maintenance team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction painting, carpentry, caulking, and blueprint reading, with hands-on maintenance person experience. This role involves performing a variety of tasks to support building projects, repairs, and renovations, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.

Duties

Perform interior and exterior construction painting with attention to detail and quality standards Execute carpentry tasks including framing, trimming, and installing fixtures Apply caulking to seal gaps and joints for weatherproofing and insulation purposes Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to accurately complete projects Conduct general maintenance person duties such as repairs, installations, and maintenance across various sites Assist in project planning and material preparation to ensure efficient workflow Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and proper tool handling Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within specifications

Experience

Proven experience in construction painting, carpentry, caulking, and blueprint reading Hands-on maintenance person experience with a variety of repair and maintenance tasks Ability to read technical drawings and interpret project plans effectively Strong knowledge of construction safety practices and procedures Prior experience working on commercial or residential building projects is preferred
