is seeking a skilled

Drywall and Taper

to join our maintenance team.

The ideal candidate will be dependable, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently across a variety of tasks. This position focuses on drywall repair, taping, and finishing, with an emphasis on delivering high-quality workmanship and exceptional customer service.

Essential Job Functions:

Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality workmanship and represent Simco Management with professionalism and integrity at all times. Complete assigned maintenance and repair tasks efficiently and on schedule. Collaborate closely with condominium and rental property managers to ensure timely completion of work orders and resident satisfaction. Communicate clearly and courteously with residents, team members, and supervisors -- both verbally and in writing. Participate in training and professional development programs as required by Simco Management and the Board of Directors. Provide after-hours on-call support on a rotational basis (approximately one week every four weeks).

Education & Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent. 5-10 years of experience in high-rise building operations or related construction/maintenance fields. Minimum 5 years of experience specifically in drywall installation and taping.

Skills & Qualifications

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities with a focus on quality and safety. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license. Must pass a criminal background check. Possess and maintain standard hand and power tools required for drywall, painting, and general maintenance duties.
