Drywall Taper

to join our team.

Responsibilities:

Apply tape and compound to drywall seams, angles, and corners Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists. Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife. Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound. Smooth out the excess compound and allow the coat to dry. Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints. Prepare surfaces for painting or finishing Sand, smooth, and repair surfaces as required Ensure a clean and safe work environment on site Work efficiently to meet deadlines while maintaining quality standards Collaborate with team members and follow company procedures

Requirements:

Proven experience as a drywall taper (minimum 3 years preferred) Strong knowledge of drywall finishing techniques and materials Ability to work independently and as part of a team Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Safety-conscious and able to follow company health and safety guidelines

$22-$25 per hour
