We are seeking a skilled Drywall Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and possess the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. This role involves finishing drywall installations to ensure a smooth, professional appearance, and requires attention to detail and craftsmanship.
Duties
Apply tape, joint compound, and other finishing materials to drywall surfaces.
Smooth out imperfections and prepare surfaces for painting or other finishes.
Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications and requirements.
Collaborate with other construction professionals, including carpenters and painters, to ensure quality workmanship.
Perform caulking around edges and seams for a polished finish.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Ensure compliance with safety standards on job sites.
Experience
Proven experience in drywall finishing or related construction fields.
Familiarity with construction painting techniques is highly desirable.
Background in carpentry is a plus.
Maintenance Person experience that includes various repair skills will be beneficial.
Ability to read blueprints and understand construction plans is essential.
