Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Drywall Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in drywall installation and finishing, demonstrating a strong understanding of construction practices. This role involves preparing and finishing drywall surfaces to ensure a smooth and professional appearance, contributing to the overall quality of our projects.

Responsibilities

Prepare and clean surfaces before plastering or drywall application. Mix plaster or compound to the required consistency for application. Join drywall panels using tape and compound, ensuring seamless joints. Apply and smooth multiple coats of plaster or compound using trowels and floats. Skim surfaces with a final coat to prepare for paint or finish. Sand surfaces to achieve a smooth, even finish. Repair drywall damage such as cracks, holes, or other surface imperfections. Finish internal and external corners, edges, and angles with precision. Cure freshly applied plaster to ensure durability and strength. Install decorative elements such as cornices, trims, and moldings. Spray acoustic materials or textured finishes on ceilings and walls when required. Ensure all work meets quality standards and project specifications.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Drywall Finisher or similar role in the construction industry. Strong skills in drywall installation, caulking, and finishing techniques. Familiarity with various hand tools and equipment used in drywall finishing. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Knowledge of health and safety regulations Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
