Drop In Youth Worker

Job Requirements:
Programming
Facilitate small group activities
Recognize differing cultures and provide an atmosphere of acceptance.
Teach problem solving and conflict resolution in a manner that is age appropriate
Develop programs and activities that address participant and community needs.
Behavior Management
Uses listening and conflict resolution skills for positive guidance with both staff and children.
Organizes mediation or conflict resolution between children/youth when conflict occurs as needed.
Remains with children/youth at all time or organizes supervision by fellow staff.
Recognize identity challenges and work with youth to build confidence.
Administration
? Promote and raise public awareness of club programs through media, schools, recreation department, and personal contact
Other duties as requested or required by Directors Team.
Position is 40 hours per week Monday-Friday. Some special times for special programming
required
.MUST BE A PERMANENT RESIDENT.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From $22.00 per hour
