Position Overview

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented UAV Pilot to join our growing team. This is a full-time role that goes beyond flying--our pilots are hands-on in the manufacturing, assembly, and quality control (QC) of our UAV systems, while also supporting UAV inspection services as required. This position may be

collaboratively funded through the MITACS program

, offering a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of robotics innovation, applied research, and real-world industrial inspection.

Key Responsibilities

Operate UAVs safely and effectively for inspection projects. Participate in the

manufacturing and assembly

of UAV systems. Conduct

quality control checks

to ensure system reliability and performance. Assist with UAV testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance. Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to continuously improve systems. Support field deployments and service projects as needed.

Qualifications

Prior UAV piloting experience (hobbyist or professional). Strong interest in UAV technology, robotics, or aviation. Technical/mechanical aptitude; comfortable with hands-on assembly work. Detail-oriented with a commitment to high-quality work. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Willingness to travel for projects when required.
Nice to Have

Knowledge of industrial inspection or robotics. Familiarity with regulatory UAV frameworks in Canada. Experience with troubleshooting electronics or mechatronics systems.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $3,500.00-$4,500.00 per month
