Job Description

As one of Canada's leading aerial services providers for nearly 10 years, Lone Drone Solutions Inc. is looking for a organized, driven, and personable Drone Pilot & Project Coordinator (Advanced RPAS Operators) to help us grow and exceed demanding client expectations.

This is a full-time, non-managerial role. The successful candidate is expected to be on-site in Kitchener, ON and in the field as required, which is mostly in Ontario yet can be anywhere in Canada. As a Drone Pilot & Project Coordinator, your responsibilities include:

Operating drones + supporting equipment (GPS base stations, various payloads etc.) for various projects to collect accurate, high quality data Coordinating project tasks Managing data collection + delivering collected data to post-processing team members Communicating with the post-processing team + collaborating with clients to ensure project requirements are met effectively Ensuring equipment is in optimal condition, and logs are up-to-date Occasional sales/business development support, with generous commission incentives

Requirements:



Must be able to commute to Kitchener, assuming daily Valid Drivers License Transport Canada (TC) Advanced Operators RPAS certificate (small RPAS, VLOS) 3+ years flying RPAS (drones) flight logs will be reviewed*
2+ years performing inspections and/or survey/mapping drone missions 5+ years of customer service experience Post-secondary education (or finishing education) in relative field (business, engineering, surveying, aerospace etc) Strong interpersonal skills A team player, who can also work well independently Sound understanding of TC RPAS rules & regulations Flexible, with the ability to think quickly & multi-task

Assets:



Experience using autonomous aerial mapping flight software (Pix4D, Drone Deploy, DJI Pilot 2, etc) Experience in drone-based data collection & analysis Experience with drone data post-processing, creating various outputs Bilingual Valid passport
