Valard is seeking Driver/skilled Laborer local to Manitoba.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1-3 years\' experience driving trucks
• Class 3 license required
• Must provide Valid Driver\'s abstract.
• Safe operation of several power and motorized tools and equipment
• Comply with company safe work practices and procedures
• Participate in ongoing hazard assessments, daily toolbox meetings and inspections including all required safety documentation and paperwork as per company policy
• Travelling and acclimatizing to all types of weather conditions, whether night or day
• Driving carefully on hills and bad weather circumstances and managing the vehicle safely
• Agreeing to the protection rules and policies in transporting, handling, and supplying procedures and methods of fuel
• Documenting the required and important readings and quantities of the truck and commodities respectively in the driver\'s log
• Examining the goods and ensuring that they meet all policies, rules, and regulations
• Placing telecom structures and pedestals
• Place underground cable and overhead fibre as well as copper cables
• Be willing with the proper training to access confined spaces and plant site conditions
• Follow safe working procedures while around heavy equipment and large trucks
• Learn the early stages of reading construction documents
• Supply lead hand and foreman with cable readings and proper safety documentation
• Physically fit with the ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Potential to working longer shifts may be required
• Must be local to Headingly area *accommodations and LOA are not provided*
