Start Date: ASAP to be trained and prepared for cruise ship season beginning in April / May 2025

Work Hours : Seasonal, Full-time + Part-time roles available

Location: Central Burnaby / Vancouver

Wages: $23.50 per hour + daily overtime + pooled commission = average earnings of $27-$28 per hour


Extended health benefits - company pays while working full time if you opt in.


At Gray Line Westcoast Sightseeing, we are hiring new stars to join our Hop-On, Hop-Off Sightseeing Driver team. Do you have a passion for showing off Vancouver to visitors from around the world? And you can't beat our office views of beautiful Vancouver from your driver's seat!

YOUR WORK WILL INCLUDE:

• Driving a Double Decker tour bus on a fixed, scheduled route around Downtown Vancouver in a safe manner
• Driving safely and efficiently to keep on schedule to posted route timing
• Providing exceptional service to our guests
• Performing daily pre- and post-trip inspections to bus safety, compliance, and cleanliness
• Effective and professional communication over radio/phone
• Ability to adapt quickly and efficiently to changing traffic patterns, street closures or detours
• Accurately perform credit transactions using point of sale systems
• Being warm, friendly, and welcoming to all guests and team members
• Professionally handle guest queries and concerns
• Coordinating with Step on Guide on the bus to ensure smooth operations, guest safety, and customer service
• Promoting partner attractions and online reviews

WHAT WE WILL LIKE ABOUT YOU:

• You possess a valid BC Class 1 OR Class 2 License with air brake endorsement, with a clean driver abstract
• You have at least 3 years driving experience in Downtown Vancouver
• You are familiar with the downtown Vancouver streets
• You have a friendly + outgoing personality with a guest first focus
• You possess a professional attitude and appearance
• You have the flexibility to accommodate a changing schedule, available to work any day of the week, and an average shift length of 10-11 hours per day
• You are available to work a full-time schedule over the peak summer touring months
• You have previous experience working in a customer service role
• You can work well both independently with minimum direction, and as part of a team
• You are fluent in English, written and oral. Ability to speak a second language is a bonus.
• You are legally entitled to work in Canada
