Our Driver plays a key role in supporting All-Lift Ltd.'s daily operations across multiple departments, including Rentals, Sales, Parts, and the Shop. This position is responsible for the safe, timely, and professional transportation of equipment, parts, and materials to and from customer sites, third-party suppliers, and company branches. The successful candidate has strong organizational skills, reliability, and a proactive, customer-focused attitude. A self-starter who works well independently and takes pride in representing All-Lift Ltd. on the road.
Rental Department Responsibilities:
Deliver and pick up all rental equipment, including forklifts with a capacity of up to 5,000 lbs (under 9,000 lbs total weight).
Transport rental attachments as required, ensuring they are secured and handled with care.
Maintain accurate documentation for all rental deliveries and returns, verifying condition and completing paperwork as necessary.
Serve as backup support for the shipping department when the primary shipper is on vacation, including preparing outgoing shipments and receiving incoming deliveries.
Sales Department Responsibilities:
Deliver and retrieve demonstration (Demo) units for prospective customers in coordination with the sales team.
Transport sold equipment directly to customers, ensuring timely delivery and a professional hand-off.
Pick up and deliver forklift batteries for sales clients as requested.
Assist in collecting sales orders or materials from third-party suppliers to support ongoing deals and deliveries.
Parts Department Responsibilities:
Pick up bulk parts or supply orders from external vendors and suppliers, ensuring timely arrival to support warehouse inventory and service team needs.
Shop Support:
Pick up and deliver forklift parts needed for service and repairs from designated suppliers or vendors, helping to reduce equipment downtime.
Additional Requirements:
Requires a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Experience operating forklifts is highly desirable.
Strong mechanical knowledge related to material handling equipment is a plus.
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members, suppliers, and customers.
Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks effectively.
Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure all transportation complies with safety and legal requirements.
Maintain daily logs and records as required.
Flexibility to support various departments based on business demands.
Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work in various outdoor weather conditions
