We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient warehouse operations, including the handling of inventory, order fulfillment, and shipping and receiving processes. This position requires a strong work ethic, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to operate heavy equipment safely.
Duties
Load and unload products from trucks and containers efficiently and safely.
Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and manage stock.
Assist in order fulfillment by picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment.
Fabricate packaging materials as needed to ensure product safety during transport.
Conduct regular inspections of warehouse equipment and report any maintenance needs.
Manage shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring accurate documentation of incoming and outgoing shipments.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.
Skills
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory tracking.
Proficient in load unloading techniques for various types of products.
Ability to fabricate packaging materials as required for specific products.
Experience operating heavy equipment safely within a warehouse setting.
Knowledge of order fulfillment processes in a warehouse distribution environment.
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
Candidates with valid forklift license considered an asset.
