Role Summary:

Reporting to the Assistant General Manager, the incumbent will deliver concrete to customers and will ensure the quality of the product is delivered to customer expectations.

Responsibilities include:

Work closely with Batchers and Dispatchers. Arrive to work on time and be ready to go at "start" time. Make sure the truck is ready to load when called upon. Manually check the load of ready-mix to make sure it looks good. Follow all company procedures for safety and environment. Daily circle checks of equipment. General cleaning of truck. Greasing and performing wet service on truck. Follow company maintenance policy. Setting up moulds (spraying with form oil). Finishing off tops with trowel. Stripping moulds after ready-mix has cured. Maintain good working relationships and customer relations. General housekeeping in yard and shops. Maintenance on other trucks. Prepare daily driving log and circle checks, time sheet, weekly truck sheets, fuel card (Pump, Boom and flatbed trucks). Wear required PPE at CCL and customer job sites as required. Respect management decisions.

Must Have's:

Class 3 driver's license with airbrake endorsement. Minimum 3 years Class 3 driving experience. Clean Driver's Abstract. Positive attitude and outlook. Ability to do moderate lifting 50-70 lbs. Off-road heavy truck driving experience. Ability to work 10 hours shifts (Mon - Fri) with possibility of overtime.

Pay: $24.00-$27.00 per hour
