Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Driving Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching individuals how to operate various vehicles safely and effectively. This role requires a strong understanding of driving regulations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to instill confidence in students. The Driving Instructor will play a crucial role in preparing students for their driving tests and ensuring they develop safe driving habits.

Responsibilities

Conduct driving lessons for students of varying skill levels, focusing on both theoretical knowledge and practical skills. Develop customized lesson plans that cater to the individual needs of each student. Teach students about vehicle operation, traffic laws, and safe driving practices. Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve. Ensure that all lessons are conducted in a safe and professional manner. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and performance. Stay updated with changes in driving regulations and best practices in driver education.

Experience

Previous experience as a Driving Instructor or in a related field is preferred. Knowledge of commercial driving, freight operations, automotive repair, forklift operation, or heavy equipment operation is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with students of all ages. Patience and adaptability to work with diverse learning styles and backgrounds. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $23.31-$40.66 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week

Schedule:

Monday to Friday Weekends as needed
