VitalAire Canada is the Canadian home healthcare subsidiary of Air Liquide, the world leader in gases, medical technologies and services for Industry and Healthcare. VitalAire empowers patients who have sleep apnea or require home oxygen therapy through ongoing respiratory support and compliance.

Here is what you will do

VitalAire is currently recruiting a highly energetic and motivated Driver for our Concord, ON location.

The Driver transports cylinders, medical products and equipment to and from clients and institutions. This position may also involve teaching customers on use and troubleshooting of home equipment. set-up and testing of equipment.

• Works with various teams to achieve optimal client service.

• Obeys and encourages safety policies/procedures, including infection control policies and protocols.

• Determines condition of vehicle by inspecting vehicle before and after use; logging inspection.

• Ensures correct loading of vehicles in compliance with safety regulations.

• Ensures operation of medical equipment by completing preventative maintenance.

• Documents client care and services by completing delivery records.

• Delivers products according to the daily schedule.

• Ensures the operation of the vehicle by following preventative maintenance.

• Maintains safe vehicle operation and protects load by complying with policies, procedures, rules, and regulations.

• Transfills and transports oxygen cylinders according to procedures and regulations.

• Improve the operation of the branch by participating in quality improvement activities.

• Provides after hours service to clients by participating in branch on-call rotation.

Here is what you will need

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience
• 1-2 years of experience with customer service oriented functions; homecare/medical gas preferred
• Applicable Valid Driver\'s License with minimum 3 recent years (within the last 10) of professional driving experience
• Clean driver\xe2\x80\x99s abstract
• Transporting Dangerous Goods experience
• Ability to lift up to 50-60 pounds unassisted
• Strong written and oral communication skills (verbal and written)
• Basic computer skills and understanding of logistics software
• Agreeing to disclose your COVID-19 vaccination status, as a condition of employment
