Class 1 and Class 3 Drivers
! This is the opportunity you have been waiting for to join CEDAs workforce! We are able to take on and train new divers this year and we have a variety of options available for you.

  • Join our mobile workforce which staffs our turnaround events throughout the year
  • Join on a 6 month contract, you will get experience in both our maintenance and turnaround events

What we offer:
  • Travel to & from the project
  • Accommodations for the duration of the project
  • 6x1 or 12x2 shifts at 10-12 hours per day, days and nights
  • Turnarounds can be at any of our operating regions: You will start off based in either Edmonton or Red Deer
  • Projects can last 2-8 weeks and will be continuous
  • Training: you can build your skill set and equipment knowledge
What you do:
  • Work alongside Labourers assisting with the operation and maintenance of vacuum trucks, high pressure water equipment and various specialty tools
  • Work safely at heights up to 100 meters in a labour intensive capacity
  • Climb safely into small vessels and tanks with industrial cleaning equipment \xe2\x80\x93 our experienced crew has your back
  • Complete minor maintenance and checks on equipment
  • Ensure safety for all team members and property
  • Provide quality services to our clients
  • Learn new skills every day by rigging in and out specialty equipment
  • Leave the job site in better condition that when we got there. Clean, safe and job done.
  • Haul hoses, PPE and tools to where the work is being done
  • Complete required paperwork for projects and jobs
  • Challenge your eye for detail, practice what we preach. Take your time, get the job done right the first time and safely every time
  • Other duties as assigned
What you bring:
  • Valid Class 1 or 3 licence with no more than 5 demerits in the last 3 years is required
  • Experience operating a manual transmission is a strong asset
  • 1+ years of labour or operator experience in an industrial environment is an asset
  • Valid CSO certification (or combination of CSTS-09 and OSSA Regional or BSO) is required
  • Confined Space and Fall Protection certifications are an asset
  • We have great training and your ability to read and write will ensure you meet the testing requirements
  • Able to provide a negative result on a pre-employment drug and alcohol test

  • Able to perform physically demanding work including climbing multiple flights of stairs and carrying equipment (able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis)
  • No issues working at heights or in confined spaces
  • You\xe2\x80\x99re happiest working in a team, sharing a laugh with your coworkers and getting the job done safely
