What we'll love about you:

Valid G license is required

Experience in using manufacturing equipment (e.g. overhead cranes, forklifts, shunt truck)

Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periods of time, lifting heavy loads of up to 50 pounds etc.)

Meet deadlines in a timely manner despite traffic or route changes

Flexibility to be able to change route or schedule to accommodate timelines set out by the company and client

What you'll work on:

As a Driver, you'll be responsible for ensuring company material/products are delivered to a specific destination in a timely manner, including loading the vehicle, delivering material, providing transport, and ensuring the vehicle is well maintained.

You will manage your time effectively by researching traffic conditions before embarking on your journey. Your vehicle will be ready when required for delivery, loading, and unloading material from, and you'll use your knowledge of the delivery area to meet deadlines.?Drivers must always ensure Steelcon provides high-quality customer service.

Shift:

We are actively hiring for the Day shift, working 44 hours per week.

Monday to Thursday, 6:30am to 4:30 pm. Friday, 6:30am to 12:45 pm
