Specializing in drilled shafts, shoring walls, cofferdams, and more, CDI is committed to being one of the safest and most efficient specialty drilling contractors in North America. Our custom capabilities enable us to tackle the most challenging projects with precision and innovation.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate costs estimates and complete tender package submissions for new projects Prepare written proposals for RFP tender opportunities Work with our lead estimator to analyze project management trends and forecast crew production rates Attend estimating team meetings Draft project schedules for tender submissions and to assist project planning Attend pre-construction meetings and project handover meetings to communicate the bid plan to the project managers

Qualifications & Skills:

Over 3 years of experience in civil construction estimating Graduate of a recognized post-secondary program related to civil engineering or construction management is an asset Experience using estimating software is an asset Able to work in a fast-paced construction environment Strong organization and communication skills, with the ability to multitask Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy Flexibility to work extended hours when required Experience using Microsoft Office programs, most notably Word, Excel & Project. Valid BC driver's license

ompensation:

The role is a permanent, full-time position based out of South Vancouver Island (Victoria or Nanaimo) with a typical salary range of $100K-$120K per annum. The starting salary will be based on the successful candidate's competencies, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, and experience.
