We're seeking a top-tier, energetic assistant to support our Geotechnical, Environmental, and Mining drilling operations. In this role, you aren't just a laborer--you are a critical part of a high-functioning field team, ensuring the accuracy, safety, and efficiency of every site assessment we conduct.

Note:

This position is an on-site role reporting daily to our facility in Etobicoke, ON, with travel to various project sites in the GTA.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Field Operations:

Work outdoors on a daily basis, supporting the Lead Driller in the execution of complex site assessments across various sectors.

Operational Support:

Assist with the setup, breakdown, and cleaning of drilling rigs and support equipment.

Physical Excellence:

Engage in heavy lifting and manual labor, handling equipment and materials weighing approximately 55 lbs (25kg) regularly.

Technical Problem Solving:

Use your mechanical aptitude to solve problems on the fly, ensuring minimal downtime and maintaining project momentum.

Safety & Maintenance:

Ensure the highest standard of workmanship and maintain a "Safety First" environment, including rig cleanliness and tool maintenance.

Logistics & Reporting:

Facilitate the transport of equipment and materials, ensuring all tools are accounted for and ready for daily operation.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

Experience:

At least 1 year of hands-on general labourer experience within a Skilled Trades industry.

Licensing:

A valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.

Technical Familiarity:

Previous experience on Geoprobe or Comacchio GEO205 type drills is a significant advantage.

Specialized Knowledge:

Experience with Locates is considered a strong plus.

Reliability:

A commitment to reporting daily to our Etobicoke facility and a readiness to tackle the physical demands of the job.
