Calling All Hydraulics Experts - Ready to Lead?

Are you a seasoned hydraulics pro, eager to take your skills to the next level? Do you thrive on troubleshooting complex systems and inspiring a team? We're seeking an experienced Shop Mechanic with a strong hydraulics background to join our team in Sudbury and surrounding areas.

Your Role:

You'll be a key player in maintaining and repairing our fleet of diamond drills, both on surface and underground sites. This includes diagnosing complex hydraulic issues, performing preventative maintenance, and leading a team to ensure all repairs are completed to the highest standard. Your expertise will be crucial in delivering exceptional service to our clients.

What You'll Do:

Diagnose and repair intricate hydraulic issues using advanced diagnostic tools, leveraging your deep understanding of hydraulic principles. Mentor and guide junior mechanics, sharing your knowledge and expertise to elevate the team's skillset. Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential problems and implement preventative measures to maximize equipment uptime. Maintain meticulous records of all repairs and services, identifying opportunities to optimize maintenance processes. Clearly and professionally communicate with team members and clients, explaining complex repairs in understandable terms. Travel to various job sites, ready to tackle any hydraulic challenge, even in demanding underground environments.

What You Bring:

A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with hydraulic systems, demonstrating a deep understanding of their operation and repair. Proven ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and schematics. A natural ability to motivate and inspire a team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning. A passion for tackling complex mechanical challenges, using your analytical skills to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently. The ability to clearly articulate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences. A commitment to maintaining a safe working environment for yourself and your team. Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
