Reponsibilities

• Develop art lesson plans with different student needs
• Provide safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all the students during the class
• Able to teach in various art techniques such as drawing, painting, sketching, watercolour using adaptive strategies and materials
• Providing constructive feedback and guidance to each students
• Ensure the proper use and maintenance of art supplies and equipment in order to have a well-organized and accessible studio space

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in Canada
• Excellent Verbal and Written communication skills in English
• Education: Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Arts or related certificates
• Experience: 3+ year of experience in Art field and Minimum of two years of teaching experience
• Portfolio is a must
• Good understanding of various art supplies, techniques, and adaptive strategies to meet the needs of different students
• Detail oriented and always willing to give feedback to students
• Flexibility to adjust teaching methods and approaches based on student needs
• A vulnerable sector check from the Toronto Police Service will be required for this position

Work Location: In-Person Job Type: Part-time Salary: $24.00-$30.00 per hour Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
