Position Overview


We are seeking a dedicated

Drama Teacher

to lead a weekly drama class (Wednesday's from 6:00-7:00pm) for a group of neurodivergent adults. The instructor will create an engaging, supportive, and inclusive environment where participants can explore self-expression, creativity, and teamwork through drama activities.

Responsibilities



Plan and lead weekly one-hour drama classes tailored to the needs of neurodivergent adults. Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere that encourages participation and self-confidence. Adapt lesson plans to accommodate a wide range of abilities and learning styles. Submit lesson outlines in advance to the program coordinator. Collaborate with staff to ensure the safety and engagement of all participants.

Qualifications



Background in drama, theater, or performance arts. Experience teaching or facilitating groups; experience with neurodivergent individuals is an asset. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Creativity, patience, and a commitment to inclusive programming.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $50.00-$60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 per week

Work Location: In person
