Job Description

PRIMARY ASSIGNMENTS:

Operate sewer jetting equipment to effectively clean and clear sewer lines, drains, and related plumbing systems. Conduct thorough inspections of sewer lines using video inspection equipment to identify blockages, damages, or other issues. Utilize appropriate safety measures and equipment to ensure personal safety and compliance with industry standards and regulations. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to plan and prioritize work orders, ensuring timely completion of tasks. Perform routine maintenance and inspections of sewer jetting equipment to ensure optimal performance and identify any repair or replacement needs. Accurately document and maintain records of work performed, including details of the cleaning process, inspection findings, and any repairs or recommendations. Communicate effectively with customers, addressing any concerns or questions, and providing recommendations for preventive maintenance or repairs. Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and equipment advancements related to sewer jetting and drain cleaning. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety guidelines and best practices. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring proper storage and maintenance of equipment and tools.

ROLE QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in sewer jetting/camera inspection. Experience with CIPP sewer liner curing methods will be considered an asset (hot water, steam, UV, LED, ambient methods). Experience operating sewer and drain cleaning equipment including auguring and jetting. Have an in-depth understanding of all aspects of trenchless underground infrastructure construction. Valid Class 5 Drivers License with a clean abstract. Familiarity with sewer jetting equipment and tools, including their operation, maintenance, and safety procedures. Must be punctual and dependable. Mechanical knowledge with ability to maintain and operate equipment; maintain lining equipment in good operating condition by cleaning, daily inspection, and small minor repairs.
