Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Drafting Supervisor on a permanent basis on our Technical Services team at our Co-op Refinery Complex. This position requires on-site work and is based in Regina, SK.



We operate a world-class refinery that utilizes cutting-edge technology to produce 130,000 barrels of refined petroleum products per day and an annual production capacity of 6.8 billion liters. As one of Canada's largest refineries we employ over 1,000 people.



Are you looking to drive the future of engineering documentation and design? In this role, you'll lead a team of drafters, oversee critical drawing and documentation processes, and collaborate with engineering teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency in our operations.

What you'll do:

Oversee drafting and design requirements for Project Engineering, Reliability Engineering, and Maintenance Engineering, ensuring collaboration with technical staff and adherence to project specifications. Manage and optimize CAD software, hardware, and 3D modeling tools while directly supervising the Senior CAD Specialist to support drafting needs across the CRC. Develop and enhance drafting standards, engineering specifications, and technical documentation to maintain accuracy and consistency in design processes. Lead safety initiatives within the Drafting department, including meetings, policy adherence, and potential support for Incident Command as the Documentation Unit Leader. Supervise and manage the training, career development, performance management, and goal setting of the Senior CAD Specialist, Senior Draftspersons, and other drafting personnel.

You will work closely with drafters, cad specialists and contractors, will have 9 direct reports, and will report into the Director, Technical Services. This team strives to cultivate a culture of innovation, support and collaboration.

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in Engineering & Engineering Technology and:


Have 8 years of drafting experience, and a minimum of 2 years direct supervisor experience Have a two year diploma in engineering technology (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered) Are familiar with CAD and 3D Modeling software.
